Ingredients

  • 1/4 c fat drippings this can be fat from a meat or salted butter
  • 1/4 c flour
  • 2 c any broth or juices from a meat ex: chicken, beef, pork, vegetable broth
  • salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder all seasonings to taste

Instructions

  • Add fat to a small/medium saucepan and melt on medium heat.
    1/4 c fat drippings
  • Add in flour and whisk until thick and bubbly.
    1/4 c flour
  • Slowly pour in broth or meat juices a little at a time and whisk constantly.
    2 c any broth or juices from a meat
  • Add in seasonings and continue to whisk on low to medium heat until thickened.
    salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder
  • Serve immediately.

If gravy is too thick, whisk in more broth or juices until you reach desired consistency .
