Add fat to a small/medium saucepan and melt on medium heat.
1/4 c fat drippings
Add in flour and whisk until thick and bubbly.
1/4 c flour
Slowly pour in broth or meat juices a little at a time and whisk constantly.
2 c any broth or juices from a meat
Add in seasonings and continue to whisk on low to medium heat until thickened.
salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder
Serve immediately.
